The climate in Greece is typically Mediterranean with warm and dry summers and mild winters – making it the IDEAL destination for any season. You can enjoy these gorgeous beaches any time of the year! OPA!

Once used as a hide out for pirates, the caverns of Papafragas is a great escape from the entire world. From the top of the massive rocks you can see the enormous cave that has been cut out of the cliffs sides. Follow the path carved from this stone leading to this natural swimming pool. Swim in the crisp blue – green waters between the massive white grey cliffs on either sides that lead to the open waters. We can see why the pirates choose this spot to hide their ships? Perhaps they also enjoyed these shores? Easily one of the most impressive sites of Milos!

Gorgeous beach, gorgeous views, and gorgeous waters (just like most of Greece) but what makes Paleokastritsa beach so interesting, is the romantic boat tours for a relatively cheap price. The guides take you into the surrounding caves and limestone formations as well as some surrounding beaches. Ah, speaking of surrounding beaches, be sure to also visit La Grotta Beach, a little cove not too far from Paleokatritsa. The beach bar has been there since the 60s and this perfect little party cove was built between the rocks. Order yourself up a cocktail or just people watch and don’t hesitate to take a dip in the cove, the bar is open late. Cheers!

The Cylcade’s are a small group of islands surrounded by the bluest waters, perhaps in the entire world.  Picture dreamy golden beaches with crystalline emerald and turquoise waters circled by san dunes and sculpted rocks hiding beautiful coves – a dream! Are we right? In the upper part of Koufonisi lies Parianos, a wide sandy beach with a beautiful cove. As we continue East we discover many more hidden coves! This is perfect for those couples that wish to be alone because you will end up at Italida or Platia Pounda, which is a very popular island beach and said to be one of the most beautiful in the Cyclades. Northeast of upper Koufonisi is Pori, another beautiful golden beach and perhaps the most beautiful of the Cyclades, ideal for wind surfing. Lower Koufonisi offers beaches just as beautiful but even more remote and the best known are Fykio, Deti, Nero and Pezoulia.

Also known as Shipwreck Beach, Navagio is an exposed cove on the Ionian Islands of Greece that can only be accessed by boat! Regular tours to the beach depart from several different locations for exclusive access. The Porto Vromi is to the south, and from the Northeast is Agio Nikolaos and Cape Skinari. Boats also arrive from the harbour of Zakynthos City. The Navagio area is defined by its sheer limestone cliffs, white sand beaches, and clear blue water! All aboard to paradise!

The beautiful beach of Loggas is located roughly 20 miles from Corfu town on the north coast of the island, near Sidari. It possesses a beautiful shore line that lies right up against the cliffs. The picture speaks for itself.

Saliara (Marble Beach) is a small exotic beach on the northern side of Thassos which interestingly enough, is not an easy find. In order to get to this beautiful oasis, you must first find the entrance to Makryammos Hotel and Bungalows, located on the beach of Makryammos. Next to the entrance you will see a dirt road, take it. That road will take you here 🙂 The beach is beautiful and littered with white small pebbles, possessing gorgeous blue waters. Even on the hottest days the sand stays cool because of the small marble pieces.

An island in the Southern Aegean Sea forms the southernmost member of the Cyclades, Santorini! Beautiful homes sit on top of the cliff’s dressed in all white and blue, and it really is a gorgeous spectacle. The island itself is the site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in history. This is a beautiful travel destination that combines gorgeous beaches, scenic views, amazing wine and restaurants AND an active volcano.  Definitely a must see.
