1. See The Gorge At Watkins Glen State Park

Feel free to cliff jump or just head down to the beach area for a swim – OR scuba dive?! The sky is the limit here – speaking of the sky – the featured picture is hikers on the Gertrude’s Nose Trail – much like a walk on the clouds.

A wonderful park that makes self exploring so much fun – and you can easily spend the entire day here. The path is well marked with interesting facts and information on placards as visitors move through the lush wooded surroundings. The staff is very pleasant and provide a landmark reference map, a word puzzle related to the hike, and clues to a treasure hunt with a prize for successful seekers! – Adventure awaits you!

Great courses and so much fun! There is so much fun here zip lining through the trees  and doing the obstacle courses – as they get progressively harder. Definitely be prepared to nap when you get back to the hotel 😉

Taughannock Falls is a beautiful cascading waterfall that plunges 215 feet past rocky cliffs that tower nearly 400 feet above the gorge. The gorge and rim trails offer spectacular views from above the falls and from below at the end of the gorge trail.

10. Spend The Day On Lake Ontario

Take a stroll out to the end of a pier and watch the beautiful sailboats, pontoon boats and other boats moving out on the lake! – This beach is beautiful for a stroll during the daytime and a wonderful place to be during a sunset ♥
