When we think of these tropical islands we think crystal clear waters, starfish, amazing sunsets and beaches that stretch for miles! The Bahamas will leave you breathless with its beauty! This is one of those places where you can shake the sand from your shoes but it will never leave your soul ♥
1. Discover Gold Rock Beach (Lucayan National Park)
Gorgeous beach with crystal clear blue waters that you can see for miles. If you can – check a tide chart as low tide brings up so many sea critters such as crab and starfish.
2. Walk Pink Sands Beach (Harbour Island)
Close your eyes, now imagine tropical gorgeous pink sand, blue warm waters coming up on the shore, paired paired with a colorful reef that you can kayak and snorkel? Um say it with me now, paraadiiise. This is not a place of your dreams – this is real life pink sands beach. It’s only a dream if you never decide to go..
3. Snorkel Stocking Island (Great Exuma)
The beaches on stocking feature very calm waters and wildlife such as sting rays, sea turtles and tropical fish – ideal for snorkeling!
4. Check Out the Marine Habitat at Atlantis (Paradise Island)
The aquarium is the heart of Atlantis. You can see local salt water fish entering “the dig” area through royal towers – and my oh my are there a lot of sea creatures to be seen. There is also an area where you can feed different sea creatures such as the sting rays – a snorkel site at the ruins and a multitude of other aquatic activities.
5. Discover Sea Life With Calabash Eco Adventures (Freeport)
We highly recommend Calabash Eco Adventures because they truly are very knowledgeable of the island and take you to beautiful places – and reasonably priced! You can do kayak adventures, snorkeling and plenty of swimming in amazing tropical waters – they really make sure you have an amazing time!
