We love the island lifestyle at Agape Voyage! When we think of a relaxing or adventurous destination, we tend to always lean toward exploring an island! Each tropical island truly has different things to offer and Bermuda is no different. Rich history mixed in with gorgeous sunsets, seashells and lots of sunblock! So, grab your bikini and your sense of adventure and head to the beautiful island of Bermuda
1. Discover Horseshoe Bay Beach
We highly recommend you find out if cruise ships are coming through this beautiful bay before enjoying your day here as they can muddy the true beauty of this place! Exclusivity is wonderful right?! You will love the pink sands of this beautiful bay and the water is crystal clear – HELLLO! Sitting on this beautiful bay soaking up the sun, the sounds of the waves and the breeze of that salty air gives you a true sense of well being and peace. Take some snorkels and find some interesting seashells in this wonderful bay – just make sure no critters are living inside if you’re trying to take them home.
2. Relax on Elbow Beach
Another Bermuda beauty that typically is much more exclusive than Horseshoe Bay! A clean and clear beach with no trash so please be respectful and do not throw your trash anywhere but the garbage can. This gorgeous beach features pink sands and clear waters with some nice waves for wake boarding or just jumping into! You won’t find any restaurants here but that’s all-good, just means your packing up a picnic basket and enjoying the beach in true fashion! Bring the snorkels!
3. Have Fun on Tobacco Bay Beach
A little of everything wrapped up into one beautiful bay! This is the spot for entertainment, friend making, kayaking paddling, snorkeling swimming and drink drinking! There are some acceptable chairs to kick your feet up in and a drink shack to get your buzz on! The people at the shack are helpful and fun and will help you with your chairs, bring you drinks and provide you with many laughs! This is a great place for everyone.
4. Explore Royal Naval Dockyard
The Royal Naval Dockyard offers a mix of history and shopping along with fun adventures tied in! This retired dockyard for the Royal Navy in Bermuda was the pivot point of Britain’s Atlantic Empire for nearly two centuries. The quays are now used to dock cruise liners and the fortifications fell into disrepair but are being gradually refurbished for other uses. It’s a great way to spend a few hours in-between beach going and restaurant eating on the island. Can you please check out the dolphins while you’re here to?!
5. Snorkel Church Bay Beach
If snorkeling and seeing the reefs is a thing you’re into (and if it’s not, who are you as a person?) this is the place to do it! We want to make something clear though, as environment protection is SO important to us (and if it’s not for you, again we ask, who are you as a person?) PLEASE DO NOT WEAR SUNBLOCK while snorkeling and exploring the reefs. It destroys them, kills the fish and coral. On that happy note, Church Bay Beach offers plentiful of beautiful scenes, animals, and underwater experiences. This is the place you want to bring your underwater camera to – you will regret not buying one in advance if you don’t have one because it is just THAT spectacular. Swim with the Nemo’s, Dory’s and Crush’s of the ocean!
