How To Spend Four Incredible Days In Kauai

Aloha, and congratulations on making the best vacation destination decision you could possibly make! We are talking about Kauai of course, and we are so excited to show you around! Kauai is one of the least inhabited islands in the world, it’s incredibly exotic with its animals and vegetation and the landscape speaks for itself. Did you know this is also one of the ONLY parts of the world where you can see humpback whales? Yes, even the whales come here because this place is so special! So grab your bikini and your hiking boots (that’s right) and lets explore Kauai Agãpé stlye!

Day 1

Head to the Hilton!

The only downfall to your Kauai vacation (hardly) is that you will be arriving in Kauai, most likely, at nightfall. How aggravating right? You just want to see the ocean and shake a palm tree for a coconut,. and. you’ll. just. have. to. wait! But hey, once you land you’ll be able to smell and hear the ocean and that should be enough to satisfy the aloha spirit in you! Take a moment to appreciate where you are, and what you are about to experience. By the way, the hotel we recommend is overlooking the ocean so lets just get there shall we? The Hilton Garden Inn has an outdoor pool right beside the ocean – not so bad right? So grab a drink, hit the pool and walk the moonlit beach as you enjoy your first night here in Kauai. Cheers to waking up in paradise.

♥ Recommended Hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay – 3-5920 Kuhio Highway, Kapaa, Hawaii, 96746, USA Just a short drive from Lihue Airport.

Day 2

Hike Through Waimea Canyon

Say it with us now “WHY-MAY-UH” (Waimea) Canyon because that’s where we’re headed to today! Be prepared for some hiking and sight seeing as we climb through the gorgeous lush green land of Kauai – please bring your cameras because you’ll definitely be needing them! Climb with us into this enchanted land to experience waterfalls, creeks, and beautiful laid out paths to reach insane views such as the one we have pictured here. You can choose several different paths (depending on your preference) and we guarantee you none of them will disappoint!

♥ Pack a lunch and plenty of water

♥ Bring the binoculars

♥ Hiking boots, bathing suit and towel

Day 3

Enjoy The Na Pali Coast State Park, Your Way!

The possibilities are ENDLESS when it comes to exploring and enjoying the Na Pali Coast – and when we say endless we truly mean it. You can take a full day kayaking tour with Na Pali Kayak as you explore the caves and waterfalls in your own personal kayak – and yes, expect to see dolphins just a few feet away from you! If that doesn’t tickle your fancy and you’d like a birds eye view of the Na Pali Coast, book a helicopter tour with  Safari Helicopter and enjoy an unforgettable experience way up with the clouds looking down on this gorgeous island. If relaxing is more your style, we recommend booking a four hour sunset dinner cruise on the Southern Star where you can enjoy a beautiful dinner, endless sight seeing and unlimited beer and cocktails! They offer an amazing package, but again if that’s just a little too relaxing for you, and you’d like some adventure with your cruise, we recommend The Blue Dolphin Charters for some sailing and snorkeling! This charter boat offers several different packages to fit your adventurous needs so take a look, book a reservation and make the most of the Na Pali Coast.

Day 4

All Day Shell Collecting & Sun Bathing on Hanalei Beach

Hanalei Beach attracts people from all over the world and it’s not hard to see why as the bay is surrounded by lush green mountains, towering waterfalls and downtown is just a short walk away. Bring a picnic and umbrella and be prepared to spend your entire afternoon here! Sit on the beach and watch the surfers take to the waves, and take them on yourself if you dare! Hanalei Beach is perfect for beginner surfers or just beach combers – happy shell hunting!
